LEED Certification & Green Building Services

As defined by the U.S. Green Building Council, “LEED™ is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts… LEED™ provides building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.”

Lobar Inc. has a vast amount of experience with “green” building. The majority of the projects completed over the past several years have been designed to meet LEED™ certification. Due to the popularity of “green” building construction, Lobar Inc. now has a LEED™ Accredited Professional (LEED™ AP – Building Design and Construction) and a LEED™ Green Associate (LEED™ GA) on staff to assist our Project Managers and Superintendents in the process. Lobar is well aware of the extensive documentation and construction methods required to attain the proper amount of LEED™ points established by the design professional in order for the project to be certified.

With over 50 years of experience, Lobar will make your construction project a success.
