LOBAR INC. RELOCATES LEHIGH VALLEY OFFICE TO LARGER SPACE WITHIN EMMAUS Family-owned general contractor specializes in work for the public sector
DILLSBURG, Pa. (May 12, 2008) – Lobar Inc., a family-owned and operated construction company, has relocated its Lehigh Valley office to 4283 Chestnut St., Emmaus.
Lobar Inc. purchased the 11,000-square-foot building, which is approximately six miles southwest of Allentown. Lobar Inc. had been operating from leased space at 860 Broad St., Emmaus, since opening its Lehigh Valley office in fall 2006.
“We wanted to establish a permanent base of operations for the long run,” said L. Richard Eichelberger Jr., Lobar Inc.’s president, in explaining the move. “This will provide our Lehigh Valley team members with the security of knowing that we are absolutely committed to developing the best construction firm in the Allentown area.
“This new office also will offer state-of-the-art technology that will allow us to provide superior construction services to our customers – and superior working conditions for our people. We believe this will help us attract the best construction workers and managers in the area and to again be voted one of the ‘Best Places to Work in PA’.”
In 2007, Lobar Inc. was the top-ranked construction company on the “Best Places to Work in PA” list. The company has made the list three years in a row.
The Lehigh Valley office serves Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Pike and Wayne counties.
Projects currently being coordinated from the office include Tilden Elementary Center, Hamburg; Monocacy Elementary Center, Douglassville; Sharadin Arts Building, Kutztown University; North Pocono High School, Moscow; Pleasant Valley Middle School, Brodheadsville; Coatesville Area High School, Coatesville; and Rainbow Elementary School, Coatesville.
Based in Dillsburg, York County, Lobar Inc. (www.lobar.com) specializes in work for the public sector, at the local, state and federal levels. Lobar Inc. also has a satellite office in Williamsport. ###
