CARBON, LYCOMING AND POTTER COUNTIES

DILLSBURG, Pa. (Aug. 27, 2007) – Lobar Inc., a family-owned-and-operated construction company, has completed these contracts:
Bradford County
Project: Additions and renovations to Bradford County Prison in West Burlington comprising 28 maximum security cells; construction of a holding cell area with two cells and a deputy warden’s office; and a women’s area containing six cells, three dormitories, multipurpose room, day room and showers.

Client: Bradford County commissioners
Architect: Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates, Mechanicsburg

Carbon County
Project: At L. B. Morris Elementary School, three additions (kitchen/café, library and two-story classroom) totaling 42,000 square feet, and renovations to the existing school totaling 70,000 square feet. Additional work included site improvements, a retention pond, paving, sidewalks and curbs.
Client: Borough of Jim Thorpe
Architect: EI Associates, Harrisburg

Lycoming County
Project: Renovations to Loyalsock Township High School and 72,000-square-foot addition to combine high school with Loyalsock Township Middle School. Other improvements included a new athletic field and parking.
Client: Loyalsock Township School District
Architect: L. Robert Kimball & Associates, State College

Potter County
Project: At Lyman Run State Park, campground modernization comprising two buildings, sewage septic system, concrete retaining wall with stone veneer finish, sidewalk and parking areas.
Client: Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
Engineer: Entech Engineering, Reading
